The Island of Timor is home to a number of rich, cultural traditions. Among those artisan traditions that survive is the carving of ancestral figures. The Timori Statue, Wood are a collection of hand-carved human figures. Steeped in centuries of tradition, these carvings are primitive pillar-like figure sculptures that can be placed in hallways or on tabletops. Timori Statues stand about one meter or about 38 inches tall.
